Today on the Rwanda Stock Exchange: Bralirwa stock falls by Rwf5

On today’s Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE), the Rwanda Share Index (RSI) went down 2.04 points and closed at 265.45 rersulting from a drop in Bralirwa share price which closed at 460 compared to the yesterday closing price. The total turnover for the day was Rwf98,816,300 from 214,800 Bralirwa shares traded in 11 deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf6,661,400 from 14,300 Bralirwa shares and 100 USL shares traded in 3 deals. Bralirwa shares traded between Rwf460-465 and closed at Rwf460, down of Rwf5 in comparison with the last trading session whereas BK counter was quiet and remained at Rwf292 from the last trading session. On the other hand KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf1,200 and Rwf 175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 215,400 BK shares between Rwf293-315 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 218,000 shares between Rwf446-458 and outstanding offers of 6,200 shares at 460. On the side of KCB counter, there was an outstanding bid of 5,100 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers. On Uchumi Supermarket counter, there was an outstanding offer of 7,100 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids.
